Youth Winter Training U12, U14-U16
* U14/U16/U18 Full-Winter is $450, and runs from Nov 3 to April 25 (24 weeks). Three 8-week sessions are also available, for $180 each: Early-Winter (Nov 3 to Dec 27), Mid-Winter (Jan 5 to Feb 28), and Late-Winter (March 2 to April 25).
* U12 Full-Winter is $330, and runs from Nov 4 to April 25 (24 weeks). Three 8-week sessions are also available, for $150 each: Early-Winter (Nov 4 to Dec 27), Mid-Winter (Jan 6 to Feb 28), and Late-Winter (March 3 to April 25).

Sprint Canoe Kayak Winter Programs are for beginner, intermediate & advanced athletes ages 12yrs or older.
U12 Winter Practice Schedule:
- Tuesday and Thursday: Run/Ski (4-5:15 pm)
- Saturday: Run (10:30 am-12:30 pm) OR Ski (11 am – 1 pm)
- Option to join morning swims on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings 6-7 am
- Option to join Squash/Wall Climbing on Friday afternoons (admission not included)
Events:
- December 21: Canoe Kayak Ontario Swim Meet
- February 1: Canoe Kayak Ontario Ski Loppet

Adult Winter Fitness Program (Adults 23+)

Petrie’s Adult Winter Fitness Program is for adult paddlers who want to get in shape, stay in shape, and get ready for next season!
Our Winter Program for Adults 23+ uses a social and balanced approach to fitness, designed for master paddlers who want to build strength, endurance, and mobility while having fun and training as a team.
From beginners to seasoned athletes – whether you’re new to lifting or already strong, we’ll help you progress!
Training entails:
- Two nights a week of coached strength and conditioning
- Take-home mobility sessions to keep you moving
- Saturday morning run or skate ski for endurance (weather-dependent)
- Fitness testing to track your progress!
