Two-Week Summer Camps

Designed for Ages 8-14, our beginner summer camp is the introduction into sprint canoe-kayak. Each day on the water, you’ll improve your strength, skills, balance, steering, and endurance. By the time you have been paddling for two weeks, you will be ready for your first regatta! Races are fun, low-key, and designed with beginners in mind! Parents are welcome to attend. LTAD Level: “FUNdamentals & Foundations“

If you have taken the Beginner Summer Camp program before, we highly encourage you to sign up for our 8-week Youth Racing Program.

Dates: June 30 to August 22

Two-Week Sessions (Maximum 12 participants per session):

• June 30 to 12 (9 Days)
• July 14 to 25 (10 Days)
• July 28 to August 8 (9 Days)
• August 11 to 22 (10 Days)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:30pm with complimentary one-hour before and after care; mini-regattas Friday mornings.

Registration Fees:

• 9 Day Sessions $585
• 10 Day Sessions $645

Fees Included: sport affiliation memberships and insurance

* Beginners often tip when they first start paddling sprint boats, but tipping your boat is not an emergency, because we’ll teach you how to do it safely. After a few days, you will barely tip at all, but you’ll still know what to do if it ever happens!

Minimum Swimming Standards: Participants MUST pass the “Swim to Survive” test.
